Nje shqetesim tjeter i madh sidomos per prinderit qe kane femijet e tyre me diabet neper shkolla eshte mosinformimi

Meeting to discuss the problems that people with diabetes face every day On Friday, a meeting was held at the center of the Association of Children and Youth with Diabetes about the problems that people with diabetes face every day and their families related to this disease. . These problems that were identified and the proposed solutions will be addressed to THE HEALTH INSURANCE INSTITUTION  in a meeting that will take place at a later date. Problems were identified such as the collection of blank pens that patients with diabetes have been asked to do and for all it is a problem to lose the pen and not receive treatment for months to come. Patients in the districts do not perform glucose hemoglobin every three months in the countries where they live, but must come to Tirana or do not perform it at all due to the costs of their arrival in Tirana. The amount of pens that patients in the districts can receive is limited, they have to come to Tirana again to request an increase in the amount of pens. Patients with diabetes and their families also express concern about the quality of medications, indicating cases of overlapping insulin expiration dates and holding insulins in pharmacies outside the proper conditions. Another major concern, especially for parents who have their children with diabetes in schools, is the lack of information.
