Me date 17.09.2017 Shoqata e Femijeve dhe te  Rinjve me Diabet organizoi aktivitetin e rradhes ne Pellumbas dhe Kanionet e Erzenit.

On 17.09.2017, the Association of Children and Young People with Diabetes organized the next activity in Pellumbas and Erzen’s canyons.
The start was made from Tirana at 9am and the returning at 8pm, a part of the group by bus, and the rest of the group with bicycles. After the group reached the center of the village, the members took the road to the Pellumbas Cave by walking. During the road, they stopped to rest and to monitor the blood sugar. There were various conversations about diabetes and exchanges of experiences, as there were people in the group who live outside Albania. In the group there was also a new member who said that: -“It was a very nice experience. I was welcomed by everyone and it is really a group that gives a lot of warmth and I didn’t feel differentiated for any moment.Despite the information I had about diabetes, today I took a lot of advices from this group. I want to thank you all.”The members visited the cave with care because the cave had clay and moisture. Later they headed toward the canyons, facing a difficult terrain.Despite the fatigue and the difficult terrain, everything went very well. Diabetes can’t stop us. Such experiences, besides giving us pleasure, make us challenge any challenge. We thank the courageous members and associates who don’t get tired of being with us and supporting us.Traveling is never a matter of money, but courage.
